Just like in their opener game against the Knicks, it is hard not to like the Celtics at home as single digits favorites against a good team as they are very motivated right now. Not only are the Bucks coming to this game on a 3in4-b2b spot, but Milwaukee has also shown a lot of issues in their two losses against the Bulls and the Nets. They simply couldn’t defend the perimeter against a team with multiple ball handlers as they allowed 28 corner three attempts in those two games. A team that can’t cover the perimeter is in deep trouble against the Celtics, especially a Milwaukee team that has a deep coverage scheme on defense. On the other hand, Boston has multiple defenders to throw against Lillard and with no Middleton available, they can focus and send extra help against Giannis as well. I expect another blowout win for Boston tonight.
