With Caruso & Lonzo out and with Vucevic as their center, CHI’s point of attack defense is lacking and looking vulnerable against good driving offensive teams. Therefore, it wasn’t a big surprise the fact that the Spurs killed them at the paint by scoring 58 points there, while this very same ORL team scored 60 points in the paint in the last h2h game. ORL has had their best players available for these last few games and they are just destroying their opponents down low. In the L5 games, they scored 48, 60, 56, 50 & 60 pts in the paint.
On the other side, ORL started the season by being a good PNR defensive team, but their numbers have slipped considerably as the season progressed. That’s bad news against a team like CHI that has Lavine, DeRozan and White. So, I see both teams having a good edge on offense in here.
