I think we have some value w/ the Under in here. GSW is coming from b2b easy wins vs. MIN where they scored 130 & 123 points. It was such a favorable matchup for them: MIN plays at a fast pace like the Warriors and they have been an awful defensive team all season long.
That will not be the case tonight as the Suns play at a preferred slow pace and their defense is built to stop perimeter-oriented offensive teams like the Warriors. The Warriors defense has been playing at a higher level lately as K. Looney is starting instead of Wiseman. They will face the Suns offense that relies almost exclusively on their perimeter shooting to be efficient, and right now their lack of confidence is pretty evident.
I expect this contest to have a reduced number of second chance points & FT attempts with both teams relying on their success in the perimeter on a 2nd night of b2b set…not a good setup for the Under.

While I didn’t expect the Trail Blazers to be a good defensive team, they have been brutally bad, mostly due to injuries. A lineup that contains Lillard, Anthony and Kanter has no chance to be decent and their dribble drive penetration defense vs. OKC was comically bad: OKC had 14-21 FG on drives against them! Tonight they will face a Rockets offense that is asking their guards to drive and finish at the basket w/ Oladipo, Wall & Gordon.
HOU defense has had some great numbers since the Harden trade, but those numbers are vastly overrated as they faced several shorthanded teams lately (WAS, DAL, DET) and they took advantage of that. The current Blazers’ players can’t defend….but they can score! I expect this contest to be a shootout.
