Interestingly, Philadelphia is 3-0 Over so far this season but all games had some particularities. In their game against Milwaukee, the Bucks were red hot from the 3pts line and shot 16-37. Then, they faced Toronto in a game with 99 (!) free throw attempts and finally, their last game against Indiana went to overtime after going clearly under the total posted in regulation. The Sixers’ offense without Embiid and George is really suffering to create good looks as they don’t have good perimeter shooting and their A/TO ratio has been subpar in these games with 52 assists and 46 turnovers. What they have been doing well is pounding the ball in the paint. However, this will be good news for Detroit’s defense whose #1 priority on defense under their new coach has been protecting the paint. On the other side, Detroit is still winless and their offense has been falling apart in pivotal moments. They are prone to commit turnovers and they are predictable on using Cade Cunningham, something that I expect the Sixers under Nick Nurse to come prepared in order to limit him.
